Chrome Corundum Brick
Chrome corundum bricks refer to corundum refractory products containing Cr2O3. At high temperature, Cr2O3 and Al2O3 form a continuous solid solution, so the high temperature performance of chromium corundum products is better than that of pure corundum products.
Characteristic
Chrome corundum brick has good high temperature resistance and slag corrosion resistance, excellent resistance to molten cinder erosion, and its slag corrosion resistance increases with the increase of Cr2O3 content.

Process flow
Chrome corundum brick is made of α-Al2O3 as raw material, adding appropriate amount of chromium oxide powder and chrome corundum clinker fine powder, forming and firing at high temperature. It can also be prepared by mud casting. α-Al2O3 powder and chromium oxide powder are mixed evenly. Thickeners are made by adding glue and organic binders. At the same time, part of the chrome corundum clinker is added, and the brick is made by grouting method.
Application
chrome corundum bricks are mainly used as linings of slag oil gasification furnaces in petrochemical industry, tapping ports of heating furnaces, slide rails of rolling furnaces, tapping platforms, grooves and other industrial furnaces. It is used as the inner lining of glass kiln, brushed glass orifice cover brick, and used as the backing of molten iron pretreatment device, garbage incinerator, and coal-water slurry pressure gasifier.
